Haha, the bigger of the knuckles didn’t hurt quite as bad as the spaces above my finger nails…WOW did that kill. They were done around Lubbock, TX.I got the word “BELIEVE” because i have never been very confident, and have always been very insecure about myself. I have been through a lot..but unlike some, it has made me stronger. Recently things have gone great in my life, hence “believing” in myself and others, more.The second row of knuckles include:Music notes (my love for music or all genres)Smiley Face (to keep a smile on my face when i’m feeling down)Zodiac Symbol (Capricorn, my fascination for Astrology)A Camera (I have a photography business)Birds (resembling a free spirit)^3^ (an icon my boyfriend & I find silly, it looks like a fishface)Cross (either upside down or rightside up, my confusion in faith)4 leaf Clover (being full irish)Then the last row:Rewind, Play/Pause, Stop, Fast forward buttons.(wishing i could control time)The phrase “d e r p”..(for the simple face that i derp all the time)^look up derp or troll faces…you’ll understand hahaha.These tattoos all mean a lot to me. Each and every one. <3 holy shit. those are going to age horribly, first of all. within a few years, they’re going to become unrecognizable blurs and blobs. second of all, what the hell was this person thinking getting full knuckle coverage without having a drop of visible ink anywhere else (assuming from the pictures). third of all, congrats on now having an ableist slur on you for life. idiot. and finally, this is just a poorly constructed piece overall. seriously. Very much agree with this assessment.  Not to mention it looks like the script says “Beli eye” - why the hell you would want such an uneven and mismatched font is beyond me.  Also, what is supposed to be the “e” in “derp” just looks like a black dot.  It’s cool if this chick is happy with these…I can’t even call them tattoos because it’s all so contrived, but they’re not my hands so I’m just going to laugh and move along. I don’t care about the rest of it. I can’t really give people shit about crappy tattoos, I have one myself. Also, agreeing with the above statement, they’re not my tattoos. But I know I’m not the only one who thinks you have to earn knuckle/hand tattoos. You have to go through the whole process of covering your arms first. I want my knuckles done so bad, but I know it could be anywhere from 5 to 10 years before I’ll be covered enough to get them. The knuckles are not your ankle or your wrist. Not a place to get a tattoo if you’re not heavily covered already. I wish I could live solely off of body mod elitism. I would never have to eat. Extra points for “derp is an ableist slur.” What the fuck at having to “earn” tattoos.  What is that even?  People really need to get over themselves. That said, I think this particular collection of tattoos is stupid.  It’s like something I would have doodled on my skin with a milky pen or gel pen or whatever back in middle school.
